Wenatchee, Washington: A Historical Report of the early People and Buildings

I recently came across this very interesting article on the history of Wenatchee and thought you might enjoy reading it too.  The objective of the project (and 2007 report) was to "identify intact, historically significant buildings, objects, sites, structures, and places in downtown Wenatchee".

It discusses some history of the original Native Americans in the area and eventual settlement and growth, closely tied to the arrival of the railroad in 1892

It includes lots of old pictures and a list of historic buildings.
